I really enjoy cooking but ingredients are expensive so i dont get to do it often.. i did make my own steak hibachi last night for dinner and it turned out ok. it's my second time making it and the steak turned out a lot better but i had let it sit out for so long while waiting on the rice it got cold and a little dry. the rice i didnt let it boil fully before putting the lid on so when it was supposed to be done it was still pretty watery and was super hard to fix. i problem solved a little and put the steak inside the rice for a bit that way the steak would heat up more and retain some more flavors while maybe the rice would let its extra water go into the steak (i don't know how this works).
another thing i really like making are burritos. my dad has a really good burrito recipe but he's always working so he doesn't make it often. All it is is just 2 things of spanish rice, 1Lb of ground beef, taco seasoning, 2 cans of refried beans, lettuce, cheese, onions, and green/red peppers and mushrooms sometimes. one you get everything in your burrito you fold it up and put melted butter along the top and bottom of it than let it sit on a pan. it makes the sides crispy and makes it a lot easier to eat. the batch does make a lot of burritos though, at least 8.
i want to learn more about coding and especially make this site more visually appealing but images aren't loading even when im using the command they tell you to and i cant figure out how to do gradients. i don't know what im doing wrong.
update on the hibachi, i tried making it again for dinner (bought a rice cookier) and i got the right type of steak and it was really good. i went to the store today to try to find yum yum sauce for the steak and im gonna try some different techniques i saw from some cooking videos.
I play only one video game currently and its genshin (sadly) but before i used to play hollow night a lot, stardew valley, destiny 2, the division, but I've replayed them all so many times it's taken the fun out of it. I'm super excited for when silk song does come out that way i finally have a fun game to play. i did play lethal company a lot with some of my friends and it was a lot of fun! the game does get kinda repetitive after a while so i just have to remember to take breaks in-between playing so it doesn't get stale. i saw a few other sites where people had a chat thing where people who viewed the site could say something. i want to try doing that with this page to get recommendations on games or cooking.

I really like cosplays and going to anime conventions to see all the really cool cosplays, art, and maybe voice acters. I've tried doing cosplay but the only one that I own that is actually decent quality is still frustrating to wear because pieces like to fall off or i cant find a certain piece. i started to look for websites that are known for having good quality cosplays but are reasonably priced instead of getting it on amazon or getting different pieces of the cosplay from 50 other different websites. i found a website called dokidoki that a lot of professional cosplayers recommended so I've been debating on trying it out again, its just kinda expensive.
i realized recently that I've been completely neglecting what the site looks like on pc but i dont have one i can use as an example to see what it looks like. i think i fixed what it looks like hopefully but im not sure.
i added some particles when you move your mouse or click the screen because i think it looks cute and it gives it some extra flair. im not sure if it matches how my site looks though so i might change it.
i cant figure out how to center the top message on two pages and its killing me..... ive tried looking up what other people did but it changed the style of it and i didnt like it so im just screwed for now until i can figure out how to fix it.
this morning my girlfriend sent me a really sweet message that almost made me cry and it reminded me why I'm even doing what im doing, she inspires me to be a better person and gives me a reason to wake up each day. without her i would've probably gone insane, she's the only one who actually stuck by me through everything and i dont know how to thank her other than trying to give her the world and everything she deserves. i love her so much.
I FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM TO CENTER IT!!!!!! i am so happy apparently it was a whole different code that was messing with the already existing one and thats why when i was changing the already existing code nothing happened, im not sure what the code was for so i just deleted it and everything is still working hopefully.
i finally finished the chatbox (which took me 4 days to figure out) and im really happy with how the site is turning out! it's not a ton of hard coding but it makes me feel really good that i made my own site from 0 experience. i love struggling with a line of code than saying im an idiot because the answer to my problem was so simple, it gives me a huge wave of progression and it feels amazing! I'm debating on changing the colors of the site because i love how the guestbook looks so i might do darker colors. plus if you're like me and look at websites at 3am it's probably better on the eyes. one site I've been following has a darkmode so I'm gonna try learning how to do that if you want the darker or lighter versions of the colors.
February is valentines day, march is my girlfriends birthday, and april is our anniversary. i was planning on getting her some stickers that she said she really wanted than a plushie from an object show she really likes for her birthday. valentines day the only thing i could think of was one of those really big teddy bears because they're goofy and i think she would like it or a bunch of shark plushies (her favorite aninal is a shark). im not great at getting gifts and ive already given her a lot of shark plushies and just plushies in general so i want to do something different to make it more special. i got her a necklace a bit ago and she said rings bother her so i cant do jewelry. also cant do clothing since i dont wanna get her a bunch of clothes that she might not like than shes stuck with them. cant really go anywhere since we live in a really boring area too. i was thinking maybe ordering a restaurant she really likes than we could do a movie date at home. maybe get popcorn than i can melt some chocolate to put it on top to make it sweet.
February- order nice food and have a movie date, also buy her really big bear. March- buy her object show stickers and plushies, also favorite flavor of cake. April- still no ideas
i was thinking of getting her a dinosaur or shark necklace than buy me a matching one as a ring. I'll probably buy her a bunch more sharks for our anniversary. she doesn't have a ton of super comfy pants or shirts so she'll steal mine sometimes so ive also been thinking about getting her a snuggy that way she'll always be super comfy. i still have a bit some im gonna keep brainstorming.

i finally figured out valentines day. so im going to get a box and fill it with her favorite cookies (home made hot chocolate cookies) and put 2 heart keychains since shes been wanting more keychains for her bag and a note to tell her how much she means to me and everything shes done. i want to decorate the box but im not sure how. i was thinking about getting a white round box and getting some lipstick and do the lip marks on it and put some cute drawings of us on the box. also chocolate covered strawberries because she really likes them.
i figured out Valentines day AGAIN. So what im doing so im baking hot chocolate cookies, making chocolate covered strawberries, i made her a card and also bought her a really funny card than ordered two keychains, bought stickers and im gonna put all of that in a box and decorate the outside with hearts and little drawings of us and her dog pete. i might change something again but i think so far this plan is the best out of the rest. tomorrow a plushie gets released from a obs that she really likes so im gonna buy it for her birthday as well as some stickers and a pair of jeans. the jeans you might thinking thats weird why would you do that, because her favorite pair of jeans is one of my pairs that she stole from me. she only has one pair and wears it a lot since she says its super comfy, i stopped wearing them because I've been into more baggy clothes so i wanted to give her my last pair that way she can wash one while still being able to wear it. i feel like its not enough for her birthday but her parents are probably gonna buy her a cake so im not sure what else to get her yet. i was thinking about getting her another keychain from an anime that she's starting to get into and really likes.
everyday feels super long and when i say "oh that just happened a month ago" it feels like that happened multiple months ago, but as soon as a day is over it feels so quick. its really weird and messes me up with times and stuff. i have really bad memory so I'll also get days confused with eachother or just not know what happened on certain days.
one of my friends birthday is coming up and its two days before Valentine's day, we're gonna get together at one of our friends house and hangout and the next day everyone is gonna go to the mall. the birthday im excited for but i dont really want to go to the mall since i dont have any money to spend and I've been getting really overwhelmed easily recently.
i hate how the site looks on computer but since i dont have one that i can use often to check i cant really fix it. I've made this whole site on my phone and thats how it looks best, i really like how it looks and its not overwhelming like it is on the computer, plus images are really hard to scale and there usually just way to big but making it smaller leaves way too much empty space.
I've been cooking a lot more recently and one of my newest things i made (that actually turned out good) was this cheesy pasta type dish. if you want to try it out for yourself its super cheap and making it can serve at least 4 people if you're all super hungry and can serve 6 or 7 for normal portions. i recommend using a casserole dish.
• 2/3 lb about pasta of choice 300g • 7 oz fresh spinach 200g • 10.5 oz cherry tomatoes 300g • 1 whole bulb of garlic • 7 oz cream cheese 200g • 3-4 tbsp olive oil • Black pepper to taste • Salt to taste 1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 356°F (180°C). 2. Prepare Baking Dish: Lay the spinach leaves at the bottom of a baking dish. Scatter cherry tomatoes on top. Slice the top off the garlic bulb to expose the cloves and place it in the dish. Add dollops of cream cheese around the tomatoes and garlic. 3. Season and Bake: Drizzle everything with olive oil, season with salt & black pepper. Bake for about 30-40 minutes, until the tomatoes are blistered and the garlic is soft. 4. Cook Pasta: While the tomatoes and garlic are baking, cook your pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some of the pasta water. 5. Create Sauce: After baking, squeeze the roasted garlic out of its skin, and smash it into the tomato and cheese mixture. Smash the tomatoes and mix it with the garlic and cream cheese 6. Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish. Toss everything together, adding a bit of reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
add no pasta water if you want more of a sticky and thick consistency but i recommend just a little bit of pasta water to make it more creamy and smooth. the proportions dont have to be exact so i just buy a bag of spinach, container of the cherry tomatoes in a tellow container, one thing of garlic, a block of cream cheese, and a box of noodles. costs about 15 at most. also when adding the salt and pepper you must be very generous with the amount, you wont taste it at all if you add just a bit.
